PROJECTOR: JVC HD750 A great little shelving bracket used here. "After having a CRT projector set up for some time, I recently decided to make the move and put together a JVC HD750/MK3/Majestic Scope combo. I couldn’t be happier with the gear. Garry |

PROJECTOR: SONY VPL VW60 A good bit of DIY here. Grant used 2 shelving arms (I believe) from Mitre 10, attached them between the projector mounts legs and the mounting holes. They extended out to the lens which was bolted in place. The result was a hassle free, neat setup. Nice work! Comments by user: Rich Just a quick message saying thank you for all the hard work you have done with mark in creating the MK3. I have mine fully set up now with my new screen and the picture is fantastic. We did the right thing by going to the larger 130inch screen too; I would have been kicking my self now if I didn’t listen to you. Everyone that has come around to see my set up thanks to you has said this is better than going to the real cinema. So once again thank you and I’ll be sure to pass the word on about your professionalism and great products that you deliver |

PROJECTOR: JVC HD350B This WA installation shows the MK3 at full stretch. It only required a short peice of timber to sit in between the base of the cradle and the ceiling. Nice work! Did I say neat? Comments by user: Looks very nice also. Just want to say Mark, the Picture and the experience is just amazing. I wish I did earlier and your lens does the job amazing. Well done! Link |

PROJECTOR: OPTOMA The MK3 is a nice match for any DILA or DLP projector. The narrow pixel gap ensures a nice sharp image. |

PROJECTOR: Sony VPL VW60. This one is from the USA. Larry has taken the MK3 one step further here and motorised a slide for it. Richard and Mark: here are two images of my Mark3 installed on my DIY motorized sled. The sled is based on the manual version posted on AVS by Mike Rosinski (mtbdudex). I added my motorization scheme, which uses a Firgelli Automation linear actuator with a 9" throw. The actuator is RF controlled, and runs from a 12VDC transformer. It is 17" long, and fits very nicely on the 17.25" top plate of the sled. It attaches to the bottom (movable) plate using an L-bracket connected to a 1/4" x 1" aluminum strap. I can supply a couple of images showing the before-after aspects of the projected image, but I think you have those pretty well covered on the web site already. It also depends significantly on the screen and projector set-up, as well as the projected image itself. The main thing is that without doing much to align the lens, I think it gives a beautiful 2.35:1 image. I don't seen any effects of CA on a real image, and the pincushion effect is also not noticeable in a real image, even on my cheapie Focupix interim flat screen. I am completely satisfied so far with my purchase and installation. Next project is the curved screen... :-) best regards, Larry Allard Knoxville, TN, USA

PROJECTOR: EPSON TW2000 with Dvdo Edge scaler. In this setup the MK3 required a few peices of timber to 'block it down' |
